Hire our Kit
At AcSoft we offer a comprehensive range of instrumentation for both long and short-term hire.
With minimum terms as short as a week we can ensure you have the equipment you need, when you need it. All our products are best in class, so we can ensure that you have the very best instrumentation to fulfil your monitoring needs.

Choose From Our Extensive Hire Fleet
Environmental Monitoring
Our environmental kit consists of some of the highest quality noise, vibration air quality monitors on the market. From the UK’s favourite meter, the SV 307A to our SV 803, and our new SV 804, our equipment promises to provide reliable, consistent data.
The Airly is a MCERTS certified device that measures the air quality in your immediate surroundings.
And the SV 303 provides noise monitoring in conjunction with our SV 803 vibration meter, giving you a 4 channel system covering noise and vibration in one.
Health & Safety
From noise exposure to hand-arm and whole-body vibration, our health and safety fleet covers every requirement under the Noise at Work and Vibration at Work regulations.
The range spans personal noise dosimeters like the SV 104A to multi channel systems like the SV 106, to vibration monitors including the SV 103 and SV 100A, plus calibrators to keep every reading traceable.
Every instrument is built to deliver reliable, audit-ready data, and with this breadth of equipment to hire, our experts can put together a fleet that fits the exact compliance need in front of you.
Building Acoustics
We offer a strong fleet of building acoustics for hire. Starting with our SV 971A sound level meter, this is the smallest class 1 SLM on the market, pairing with our Building Acoustics Pro app via Bluetooth for on the go measuring and reporting.
Next is our EOS Tapping Machine 2.0, using electromagnetic hammers, it is much stronger against wear and tear than traditional belt based tapping machines.
And lastly is our DL 203 dodec. This comes with an in built amplifyer and is SITMA approved, meaning you can conduct complaint measurements, on the move.
Acoustic Imaging
Using microphone array beamforming, these cameras turn sound into a live visual map overlaid on the camera image, helping you in applications from gas leak detection, to NVH troubleshooting, to building acoustics.
Our CRY 8124 uses 200 MEMS microphones to catch leaks up to 100kHz from up to 200 meters away, with an ATEX (CRY 8125) option also available. We also offer our portable Sound Scanner, which simulates 480 microphone points through a spinning arm. And our Mikado packs 96 MEMS microphones, designed for mobile sound trouble-shooting and vibration problems.

Multi Channel Systems
Every measurement challenge is different, which is why our DAQ hire kits are never one-size-fits-all. With over 3 decades of expertise, we have a dedicated team of specialists who will provide assistance from the start, to completion of your project.
From handheld front ends and plug-and-play interfaces to fully installed multichannel data acquisition systems, we build a rental package around the application, not the other way round.
Our experts are involved from day one, helping you scope requirements, configure the kit, and get it running correctly on site, so you’re hiring a solution backed by technical knowhow.
Microphones & Accelerometers
A DAQ system is only as good as what’s feeding it data, so every hire kit can be paired with the right transducer for the job. We source measurement microphones and accelerometers, including piezoelectric, MEMS and other sensor types, from a range of leading manufacturers.
We then assist you in selecting whichever best suits your application rather than being tied to one brand. As an independent distributor, we match the right transducer to your hired DAQ front-end, giving you a complete, accurate measurement chain from day one.

Scan&Paint 2D vs Scan&Paint 3D
April 28, 2026
Acoustic troubleshooting and sound source localisation provide insights that traditional measurement techniques can struggle to deliver. This is why tools like Scan&Paint 2D and Scan&Paint 3D are becoming so popular in the engineering field. These tools allow engineers to transform acoustic data into clear visual sound maps, making it easier…
A Deep Dive into Scan&Paint 2D
April 15, 2026
NVH Engineers face acoustic challenges every day. This could be troubleshooting noise, optimising products or improving soundproofing. Identifying the true source of unwanted sound is rarely straightforward. Traditional acoustic measurements can tell you how loud something is, but they often struggle to clearly show where the noise is coming from.…
