Svantek Sound and Vibration Measurement Equipment

Svantek specialises in professional instrumentation for sound and vibration measurement and analysis. Established in Warsaw, Poland in 1990, the company develops equipment for applications including environmental noise, occupational noise, building and ground vibration, human vibration and building acoustics.

The Svantek range includes Class 1 sound level meters, noise dosimeters, vibration meters, outdoor monitoring stations, sensors and software, providing solutions for both short-term measurements and long-term monitoring projects.

Professional Noise and Vibration Measurement

Accurate measurement equipment is essential when assessing workplace exposure, investigating environmental noise or monitoring vibration over extended periods.

Svantek instruments support a broad range of professional applications, including:

  • Environmental noise monitoring
  • Occupational noise measurement
  • Building and ground vibration monitoring
  • Hand-arm and whole-body vibration
  • Building acoustics
  • Urban noise monitoring
  • Health and safety assessments
  • Long-term unattended monitoring

The range covers compact handheld instruments through to permanent monitoring stations, allowing equipment to be selected around the measurement environment and project requirements.

Class 1 Sound Level Meters and Noise Monitoring

Svantek manufactures Class 1 sound level meters for professional acoustic measurement. The SV 971A, for example, is a compact Class 1 instrument designed for occupational noise and building acoustics, with support for applications including RT60 reverberation time and STIPA speech intelligibility measurements.

For long-term environmental noise monitoring, systems such as the SV 307A provide unattended Class 1 measurements with remote connectivity. The SV 307A also became the first noise monitoring station using a MEMS microphone to receive PTB Type Approval.

This combination of portable and permanent instrumentation allows users to select a solution suited to individual surveys, workplace assessments or continuous environmental monitoring.

Remote Noise and Vibration Monitoring

Svantek also provides software and connectivity solutions for remotely managed monitoring projects.

SvanNET supports online access to compatible noise and vibration monitoring equipment, allowing measurement data from multiple locations to be managed remotely. Solutions such as SvanLINK and SvanNET AI extend these capabilities with real-time visibility and automated monitoring functionality.

For consultants, construction projects, local authorities and environmental monitoring teams, remote access can help reduce unnecessary site visits while maintaining visibility of measurement conditions and results.

Svantek UK and AcSoft

AcSoft has a long-established relationship with Svantek. After previously distributing Svantek instrumentation in the UK, Svantek UK was formed in 2011 as a joint venture between Svantek and AcSoft.

Today, customers have access to specialist product guidance, technical support, training, equipment hire and calibration services for professional noise and vibration measurement applications.
