The Voyager merges multiple functional units like data acquisition, data storage and signal conditioning into a sleek tablet device. Embedded software with touchscreen response allows a more intuitive and user-friendly operation for real-time audio playback and comprehensive analysis of the acquired data. Besides conventional FFT and octave frequency analyses, the implementation of spectrogram analysis allows the user to also study non-stationary or transient noises. Targeted analysis with the help of real-time filters on a data channel optimises the workflow and efficiency of the Voyager. The possibility of extension up to 6 channels allows autonomous measurement with reference microphones or accelerometers to correlate and compare data measurements.

Features

  • Portable measurement device
  • Two modes: standalone or portable front-end
  • Built-in battery and internal storage capacity
  • Embedded touch-controlled software data analysis
  • Octave Bands, FFT, Spectrogram & Loudness
  • Real time audio filters, for analysis and listening
  • Remote access and control
  • Compatibility with all Microflown probes
  • Compatible with up to 2 additional (IEPE) sensors

Applications

  • NVH testing
  • Noise source identification
  • Buzz, squeak & rattle noise localisation
  • Quality and end-of-line control
  • Sound leakage detection
  • Sound analysis
  • Sound intensity
  • Sound power
  • Sound quality

Gain an acoustic impression of a sound event by listening to the sensor signal in real-time. Benefit from the superior advantages of the Microflown particle velocity sensor, in terms of background noise cancellation and signal-to-noise boost, for locating sound sources. This allows using it directly at the test location in presence of environmental sounds also for non-stationery sources such as buzz, squeak & rattle. Real-time filters on the audio support to run more targeted analysis. A variety of options for real-time filtering on all channels combining: low pass, band-pass, band-stop and high pass filters.
