SvanNET offers automatic control of measurement points, data sharing with other SvanNET users as well as data preview in the form of a customised website with either public or restricted access. The preview website can be customised with a logo and individual project name. Access to the preview can be either open to the public or protected by a password.

To support noise, vibration & dust monitoring SvanNET provides online connection services such as a web interface, access to data files in the monitoring station and status alarms. SvanNET is an online solution which means it doesn’t require software installation and is accessible through a web browser. Connection over SvanNET allows users to use a web browser on any device such as mobile phone or tablet to watch real-time measurement results, download measurement files and configure the station settings.

Main Applications

Noise Monitoring

SvanNET is a cloud server supporting internet connection to a group of noise, vibration and dust monitoring stations. Once a SIM card is inserted into the monitoring station, it automatically connects to SvanNET. To support noise & vibration monitoring SvanNET provides online connection services such as web interface, access to data files in the monitoring station and status alarms. The monitoring checklist includes measurement status, alarms indication, power source including battery charge and external power information as well as GSM signal strength.

SvanNET is an online solution which means it doesn’t require software installation and is accessible through a web browser. The responsive design enables the use of SvanNET on various devices such as smartphones or tablets.

Building Vibration

SvanNET automatic monitoring services provides a dedicated user interface that supports measurement methods based on Peak Particle Velocity and Dominant Frequency. Results are presented in the form of PPV time history (background data) and event list.
SvanNET provides tools for displaying and comparing velocity measurements with reference curves in accordance with commonly used standards such as DIN 4150-3 or BS 7385-2 that use the Peak Particle Velocity and Dominant Frequency method. For each vibration event containing a PPV value and its dominant frequency, the wave form and FFT spectrum can be easily printed in the form of a report. The PPV time history form a number of points can be displayed together with position of measurement points on a map.

Automatic Monitoring Service for Noise, Vibration, Meteo and Dust

SvanNET Automatic Monitoring Service is an optional extension of the basic SvanNET Remote Communication Service. The Automatic Monitoring Service offers fully automated management of multi-point noise, vibration and dust monitoring. SvanNET services are offered in the form of of licenses for SvanNET users and depend on the number of monitoring points.
Tools such as automatic files download, data storage, advanced alarms, data sharing and reporting enable unattended monitoring. The functionally of SvanNET allows for group monitoring stations in projects so that alarms and reports are defined for each project separately. The data files are also grouped automatically in accordance with project assignments.

Automatic File Download

SvanNET automatic monitoring services offer the functionality of automatic files download through remote connection with monitoring stations, and downloads the noise, vibration and dust measurement data for each project separately. The AFD ensures that data is safely downloaded and shared before clearing the memory of the monitoring stations. The automatic file download can export data to the FTP server either in the original Svantek format or converted to CSV text format.
Additionally, the AFD provides advanced alarms functionality based on the analysis of downloaded files. The AFD tools are capable of analysing data files and sending email alarms based on level thresholds being exceeded in specified time periods (e.g. Leq for day and night). The system is flexible enough to alert different users depending on the time of the day or day of the week.

Data Sharing and Publishing

SvanNET Automatic Monitoring Services’ Data Sharing allows the sharing of measurement data with other SvanNET users. Multiple levels of security(MLS) for different user accounts offer the the option to limit access to there levels: Administrator, Manager and User. Additionally, SvaNET offers data preview in the form of a customised website with either public or restricted access. The preview website can be customised with a logo and individual project name. The preview content such as map, current results or time step in time history can be customised. Access to the preview can be either open to the public or protected by a password.

Data Storage

The main advantage of data storage is quick access to the measurement data that can be conveniently browsed and downloaded by the time range to the local PC. The data is stored on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform ensuring reliable connection through a global network. Noise, vibration and dust measurement data stored by SvanNet can be opened at any time in the SvanNet project view.
