Our offices are in Bedford at the Priory Business Park, easily accessible from the A421 and close to Milton Keynes. We have parking on site (free) and are located close to restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. Beautiful lakes and parks are accessible close by for lunchtime walks.

Key Objectives and Role Description :
You will be responsible for the following key objectives in your role.- Provide first and second-line technical support via phone, email, and remote sessions.
Diagnose hardware and software issues related to:
- Noise monitoring systems
- Vibration monitoring equipment
- Air quality monitoring instruments
- Acoustic cameras and imaging systems
- Data acquisition hardware
- Measurement and analysis software
- Configure and commission customer equipment before shipment.
- Assist customers with installation, setup, calibration, and operation of instruments.
- Perform troubleshooting on sensors, microphones, vibration transducers, and communication devices.
- Support firmware and software updates.
- Deliver customer training sessions (remote and on-site).
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting articles.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, servicing, and calibration activities.
- Escalate complex issues to manufacturers and development partners when necessary.
- Maintain CRM and ticketing systems with accurate service records.
- Support hire equipment preparation and testing.
- Participate in technical demonstrations and customer site visits when required.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality procedures and health & safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree or Equivalent:- Electronics Engineering
- Acoustical Engineering
- Audio Engineering
- Instrumentation
- Electrical Engineering
Alternatively, equivalent technical experience in instrumentation or measurement systems.
Preferred:
- 2+ years in technical support or field service.
- Experience with scientific or industrial instrumentation.
- Customer-facing technical support.
- Remote troubleshooting.
- Equipment installation and commissioning.
