AcSoft Technical Services
The AcSoft technical service is equipped with a variety of cutting edge kit to tackle the majority of measurements. The objective is to work as closely as possible with your team to enable us to support delivery of the analysis and reporting to expectation.
Discovering the Acoustic Imaging Solution You Need
In acoustics many people often consider acoustic imaging and the methods used somewhat of a dark art. In fact the tools are often perceived to be at the “exotic” end of the spectrum (no pun intended) as far as acoustic measurement systems are concerned.
At AcSoft we have a more objective view of these imaging solutions, having had collectively over 20 years of experience with them in locating and characterising noises and sound-fields of sources, from power plants to surface-mount components on PCBs.
We offer an acoustic imaging technical service that can cover the full process, from measurement through to detailed analysis and reporting. Support can also be tailored to your needs.
Whether that’s full training to run the process in-house or targeted help with measurement and analysis. Our team uses a range of modern near and far-field techniques, working with acoustic cameras and particle velocity systems from manufacturers including such as gfai tech, Crysound, Microflown, and SevenBel.
Every project starts with a clear definition of requirements, covering the measurement environment, noise type, frequency range and analysis objectives.
This allows us to select the right tools, plan the measurement properly and deliver clear, meaningful results. We work closely with your team, respecting NDAs where required, and bring over 20 years of practical experience using acoustic imaging to locate and characterise noise sources across a wide range
of applications.

Crysound Acoustic Camera Technical Service
We’re now offering a dedicated technical service using Crysound acoustic imaging cameras, delivered by our expert team. This service is designed to help you quickly locate, visualise and understand noise related issues on site. We offer this service with both our industry leading acoustic cameras.
- Full Day Service£1,500.00
- Comprehensive survey
- For larger or more complex sites
- Suitable for situations where there may be several potential fault sources
- Half Day Service£800.00
- Focused on-site acoustic imaging to quickly identify key issues
- Fast indication of fault location
An add on we also offer to the service is Leak Analysis for £250 which provides clear identification of detected leaks and faults, supported by acoustic images and concise explanations. Ideal for turning onsite findings into clear, actionable information.
Per Week Hire Options
Alternatively, we have weekly hire options available which gives you full access to acoustic imaging equipment for your own surveys and inspections. We have acoustic cameras for hire from a range of manufacturers including Crysound and gfai tech.

Scan&Paint 2D vs Scan&Paint 3D
April 28, 2026
Acoustic troubleshooting and sound source localisation provide insights that traditional measurement techniques can struggle to deliver. This is why tools like Scan&Paint 2D and Scan&Paint 3D are becoming so popular in the engineering field. These tools allow engineers to transform acoustic data into clear visual sound maps, making it easier…
A Deep Dive into Scan&Paint 2D
April 15, 2026
NVH Engineers face acoustic challenges every day. This could be troubleshooting noise, optimising products or improving soundproofing. Identifying the true source of unwanted sound is rarely straightforward. Traditional acoustic measurements can tell you how loud something is, but they often struggle to clearly show where the noise is coming from.…
