Svantek have announced the launch of the SV 303, which is a brand new state of the art noise monitoring terminal, designed to meet Class 1 standards as per IEC 61672-1:2013 and IEC 61260-1:2014.
Designed for noise monitoring, at a cost effective price, the SV 303 addresses the need for accurate large scale noise assessments in urban environments. Offering a wide operating range of 30 dBA to 130 dB RMS, making it perfectly suited to capture the diverse acoustic landscapes, from the quiet of the night to the bustling activity of the day. The instrument is built with a robust environmental resilience, meaning it operates effectively in temperatures from 20°C to 60°C and up to 95% humidity.
Svantek define urban noise as ‘ unwanted sound that permeates city environments, arising from sources like traffic, construction, industrial activities and social gatherings. The pervasive noise can lead to numerous adverse effects on public health, including stress, and sleep disturbances’.
What sets the SV 303 apart is its seamless integration with existing urban monitoring systems such as the SV 803, facilitated by its USB and UART interfaces. This ensures adaptability and ease of deployment, making it an indispensable tool for smart city infrastructures.
The SV 303 comes wit the lifetime warranty on the MEMS microphone. This patented system includes a continuous system check, ensuring consistent performance and reliability over time.
