Velocity & Sound Intensity Probes

Measure sound pressure and particle velocity at the same time with our PU probes.

We sell a range of probes from manufacturer, Microflown.

The Microflown sensor is a MEMS based transducer able to measure acoustic particle velocity. The very small sized elements are created on silicon wafers using clean room technology. The sensing element consists of two ultra-thin wires (thinner than a strand of human hair).

  • Velocity and sound intensity probes measure acoustic particle velocity and sound intensity for detailed noise and vibration analysis.
  • Microflown probes use advanced MEMS technology with ultra-thin wire sensors for highly accurate and compact measurements.
  • AcSoft supplies a range of Microflown velocity and sound intensity probes ideal for precision acoustic diagnostics and research.
