key benefits

Live Data Upload

The system is plugged directly into the SV 307A with data from both systems being uploaded live to our cloud platform, SvanNET, providing you with full PM10 and noise data sets.

Calibration

Our dust system, has the advantage of only needing to be calibrated every 2 years, bringing the dust calibration interval in line with noise and vibration systems.

Installation Service Available

You have the peace of mind knowing that your systems will be correctly installed, ensuring that you will be receiving accurate data at all times. Our support team can also be on hand to provide you with training as required and ongoing technical support post installation as part of our normal working hours.

Construction developments, roads and other infrastructure projects often have a substantial and sometimes long-term impact on the local air quality. One of the most common impacts is increased dust or particulate matter (PM) concentrations. Depending on the perceived risk, monitoring may need to be carried out during both demolition and construction activities to ensure that any impact on the surrounding environment is minimised.

When it comes to construction sites, it is recommended that priority be assigned to the measurement of PM10 as emissions of dust from construction sites are predominantly in the coarser fractions, but the monitoring of PM2.5 and/or TSP concentrations can be useful in identifying source contributions.

The quality of the air we breathe is fundamental to our health and wellbeing, and generally poor air quality can have an adverse effect on the environment.

It is also important to look at monitoring air quality in the workplace as it can be harmful to workers if they are exposed to elements such as dust.

At Svantek we are probably the UK’s biggest supplier of monitoring instrumentation to the construction industry and we gained that position by providing the best in instrumentation backed up with the best customer support you can get. All our instrumentations are certified to the highest national and international standards to ensure your data can never be questioned. We also build and supply bespoke solar and wind power solutions for when you don’t have access to mains power

I finally contacted AcSoft / Svantek and spoke with Aidan Hubbard who was not only extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but also offered to visit our offices in person to give the team a free demonstration of the SVAN 977 Class 1 Sound and Vibration Level Meter and the SvanPC++ software.
After the presentation, we were allowed to hold onto a Svan 977 for 1 week to familiarise ourselves with the operation, however we confirmed our purchase within 2 days.
The robust built quality of the 977 was second to none, it’s functionality allowed frequency analysis and Z,A & C weighting measurements simultaneously.
Most importantly SVAN 977 Class 1 Sound and Vibration Level Meter operation was self-intuitive and surpassed our expectations for future noise investigations (i.e BS.4142:2014+A1:2019, BS8233:2014)
