Overview

The SV 804 features a compact, lightweight design (1.7 kg) that mounts directly to walls or structural surfaces using a single fixing point, enabling fast and secure installation even in restricted or hard-to-reach locations.

Once installed, the system delivers fully automated structural vibration monitoring, automatically detecting events using Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) thresholds and dominant frequency analysis. Measurement data is stored securely on the device and synchronised with the SvanNET Cloud Monitoring Service, allowing users to review data, generate reports, and receive alerts anytime, anywhere.

This makes the SV 804 particularly well suited to construction monitoring, building condition assessments, and long-term infrastructure projects.

Standards & Measurement Confidence

The SV 804 is Class 1 compliant and engineered to meet the requirements of:

  • DIN 45669-1
  • BS 7385-2
  • DIN 4150-3
  • ISO 4866 (Class 1)

These standards ensure certified accuracy and repeatability for professional structural vibration measurements, supporting regulatory compliance and stakeholder reporting.

For projects requiring traceable accuracy over time, the SV 804 can be supported by AcSoft calibration services and long-term calibration contracts.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Fully Automated Remote Monitoring
Unattended operation with automatic data upload to the SvanNET cloud platform, accessible via any web browser.
  • Real-Time Event Alerts
Automatic vibration event detection based on PPV and dominant frequency, with instant SMS and email notifications.
  • Compact Direct-Mount Design
Lightweight housing mounts directly to structures using a single screw, allowing rapid deployment in any orientation.
  • Versatile Power Options
Internal batteries (up to 60 days operation), Power over Ethernet (PoE), external DC supply, or solar panel support.
  • Advanced Connectivity
Integrated 4G modem for remote access, plus wired LAN and Bluetooth for sites without mobile coverage.
  • WAV Recording for Diagnostics
Raw time-domain (WAV) signal recording enables detailed post-analysis, validation, and expert review of vibration events.

Noise & Vibration Integration

The SV 804 integrates seamlessly with Svantek noise monitoring systems on the SvanNET platform, enabling combined environmental impact assessments.

When connected to an SV 303 Class 1 Noise Monitoring Terminal using the SP 79 cable, the SV 804 becomes a 4-channel monitoring solution, capturing synchronised triaxial vibration and sound data from a single system — ideal for complex urban and construction monitoring projects.
