Acoustic Calibrators

We supply a range of class 1 and class 2 acoustic calibrators for calibration of sound level meters and noise dosimeters.

An acoustic calibrator is a device which produces an acoustic pressure of a defined level and frequency.  An acoustic calibrator is a template of acoustic pressure.

Regular calibration of acoustic instruments are crucial for maintaining measurement accuracy and traceability. Depending on the instruments performance, Class or Class 2 calibrators are used.

  • Acoustic calibrators generate a defined sound pressure level at a specific frequency to verify the accuracy of measurement instruments.
  • They are essential for routine calibration of sound level meters and microphones to ensure reliable and traceable results.
  • AcSoft supplies Class 1 and Class 2 acoustic calibrators suitable for professional noise monitoring and compliance applications.
