The electret capsule and preamplifier circuit form an inseparable unit in a cylindrical metal housing. The electrical connection of the measurement microphone is made via a Microdot connector and a corresponding adapter cable on a two- or four-pole 3.5mm jack plug.
The measurement microphone can be calibrated with the Pistonfon 5002 and common sound pressure calibrators using a 1/4 “adapter.
The conical shape of the microphone holder MH 64 for a diameter of 7 mm and the windshield W 3 are recommended as optional accessories.
