With the 1/4 ”electret measuring microphone M 370, a sensor with the standards of modern multi-channel measuring technology is offered, which can be connected directly to the usual measuring channels with IEPE supply. Array arrangements and envelope surface measurement methods, for example in motor vehicle acoustics, come into consideration as typical applications.

The frequency response class 1 according to IEC 61672, the extraordinarily high sensitivity of 12.5 mV / Pa in this category and the 7 mm standard diameter are considered special advantages and are comparable to conventional measurement microphones. The electret capsule and preamplifier circuit form an inseparable unit in a cylindrical metal housing. The electrical connection of the measurement microphone is made via a Microdot connector or with optional adapters via BNC or SMB.

The measurement microphone can be calibrated with the Pistonfon 5002 and common sound pressure calibrators using a 1/4 “adapter.

The conical shape of the microphone holder MH 64 for a diameter of 7 mm and the windshield W 3 are recommended as optional accessories.
