John Shelton Proud to be Part of ISVR50 Celebrations

The Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR) was founded in 1963 and is now an internationally recognised centre of excellence for research, teaching and consultancy in acoustics, noise and vibration. This year, the ISVR celebrates its 50th anniversary which it is marking with a two-day symposium at the University of Southampton on 11-12 July 2013.

Svantek UK are pleased to have 2 alumni of the ISVR in the team. John Shelton. managing director, was there in…..well let’s say it was a few years ago now, and Niamh O’Meara, technical support, recently completed her PhD there.

John is proud to have been asked to speak at the symposium and gives a paper on the 12th on advances in sound and vibration measurement instrumentation.

We will have a small stand at the event and will be offering all attendees a great offer of a class 1 instrument with audio event recording, 1/1 and 1/3 octave band analysis for only £1,545, a saving of nearly £600. Delegates just need to take their copy of the datasheet with sticker (included in the delegate pack) to the Svantek stand.
