On Wednesday 4th November we are pleased to be welcoming the team from the Castle Training Academy to the Svantek UK training Centre. The team will be here for two days running their popular Ground Borne and Environmental Vibration residential course.
Ground borne and environmental vibration can present complex challenges across construction, infrastructure, environmental monitoring and building projects. Understanding how vibration travels, how it affects people and structures, and how it should be measured is essential for carrying out accurate assessments and making informed decisions.
This two-day course provides a practical introduction to the fundamentals of ground-borne vibration, covering measurement techniques, instrumentation, standards and regulations, assessment methods and real-world applications.
Delivered by experienced vibration professionals from the Castle Training Academy, the course is designed to give delegates the knowledge and practical understanding required to assess the effects of vibration on both people and buildings. Whether you are from a local authority, a construction company or housing association or you might be a consultant trying to help your customers. Castle start with the basics, so it is not important to have active experience in the subject and for those who have no previous knowledge, we have an introductory module so you can catch up on some of the basics.

Module 3 – Assessment Report
There is no exam for this course, which is the good news! There is an assessment in the form of a report to be completed after the course and submitted to Castle for marking. Your certificate will be based on this submission. Don’t worry though, Castle can provide any help you need.
